Payment and invoices
Card payment through Stripe, currency, when an order becomes confirmed, invoices and fiscalisation, and refunds.
How payment works
Payment is made by card, at the moment of ordering, through Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland).
Once you confirm the order at checkout, we redirect you to Stripe's page, where you enter your card details. Card details are entered at Stripe — we neither see, transmit nor store them.
We do not accept cash, cash on delivery, bank transfer against a quotation, or a quotation with a payment reference number.
Currency
All prices and all payments are in euros (EUR). If your card is in another currency, the exchange rate and any conversion fee are set by your bank, not by us.
When an order becomes confirmed
An order is confirmed when Stripe confirms the payment, of which you immediately receive an e-mail with the order number. Production starts only then — everything is made to order, so an unpaid order does not enter production.
If the payment fails or you abandon it on Stripe's page, the order stays recorded as unpaid and you can pay it again. An unpaid order is cancelled after 7 days.
Invoices
We issue and fiscalise an invoice for every transaction and send it to the e-mail address from the order.
The business is not registered for VAT pursuant to Article 90, paragraph 1 of the VAT Act, so VAT is not charged. The product price shown is final; the delivery cost is shown separately.
We keep issued invoices for 10 years, counted from the end of the year in which they were issued, as required by the Croatian General Tax Act (Article 66).
Business customers (B2B)
Business customers do not order through the web shop. Send your enquiry to b2b@playfulprints.eu; we answer with a quotation, issue an e-invoice, and payment goes directly to the business bank account, not through Stripe. The procedure is described under For business.
Refunds
If a refund becomes due — a cancelled order or a justified complaint — we return the money the same way the payment came, to the card it was paid with. How long the booking takes depends on the bank and is usually a few working days.
Security
All traffic between your browser and our site is protected by TLS encryption. Entering the card details happens on Stripe's page, which complies with the security standards of the card industry.
